We got there on Tuesday, July 20th and stayed until that Saturday. We got there late afternoon on Tuesday and got to know the area and just relaxed.
Then on Wednesday we went to the lake.
The water was freezing so we got out had a nice lunch and then headed to the playground to have some family Minute to Win It challenges.
Thursday we walked around Leavenworth.

Friday we hiked.
And went back to the lake.
Then we spent our last day at a place called Smallwoods.
Sunday was D'laney's farewell. She gave a wonderful talk and many of our relatives came. It was a great day.

D'laney and Drew
On Tuesday D'laney was set apart and we had a big party for her that night. The next day we took her to the Spokane Airport so she could fly to Salt Lake City to the MTC. We left and 4:40 for her 6:30 flight but she missed it by minutes so we unfortunately had to wait until 10:00 for the next flight. Through all of the madness Sister Killian was calm and didn't freak out.
But 9:30 finally came around so we all said our goodbyes.
She is in the MTC now meeting new people and learning new things.She will be there for 2 months and then she is off to Bulgaria. We all miss her terribly but we know that she is going to be a great missionary and she will be safe for the whole 18 months she will be gone!
